Tabling is an essential part of MACGVs   visibility work to share our services          and  work with the community.                 At our table  events we:
  • Provide gun violence victims with information on MACGVs grief  support services
  • Gun violence awareness, prevention, and education
  • Prompt community engagement with our National public safety movement of "Not On My Block."

Tabling Community Events 

Annual organization and facilitation of community gun violence "Peace Walk's" both locally and nationally. Washington DC,

Chicago, Atlanta, North Carolina, Maryland, and Sweden.

National Peace Walks
For Change
We walk to bring awareness and prevention to eradicating community gun violence out of communities of color. MACGV walks to promote community engagement and public safety. We encourage community members and concerned individuals to be a part of the change they want to see in their communities.
NOT ON MY BLOCK
The "Not On My Block" window decals and yard signs are used to deter community violence and call on community members to be Community Keepers who care about the well-being of their neighborhood.

All donations go toward MACGVs work on gun violence prevention education and awareness.
Project Brooklyn & Aveda Institute Partnership
 
 
In Minnesota, Twin Cities area, Project Brooklyn's Beauty Showroom is a platform Nia Black created and hosted annually for local beauty industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and vendors to come together under one roof to perform live tutorials, shared resources, and capitalize on endless networking opportunities.

CONDOLENCES CALL AND CARE PACKAGE
 
Conduct condolence calls and provides care packages to the victim's family following the loss of their child.
